I haven't bothered to calculate it out... you'd take the maximum number of physical partitions per physical volume, multiply by the largest value allowed for a physical partition, and you'd have your answer. It would be a big number, as the default PP size is 4MB, and the old volume limit was something like 1014

After installing Windows 2000 into /dev/hda1, i noticed that it thinks that it is installed on 18GB partition. Booting up linux and using 'df', i found out that it thinks the same (about hda1). The df program knows nothing about partition sizes. It only knows how big the *filesystem* is.
